In May 2025 we gained permission to vary a condition on an existing planning consent for B1 (now Use Class E), B2, and B8 uses, which had previously restricted hours of operation. This was crucial for our client, whose snooker club was being displaced by redevelopment. As the only dedicated snooker club in the region with a longstanding reputation for hosting tournaments and sporting events, securing a new location quickly was essential to avoid losing this valued community facility. Through proactive engagement with the case officer and close coordination with our client, we were able to secure a decision within approximately four weeks of validation—half the standard determination period.
