Kingsley Padel Tennis Centre East Hampshire

Union4 acted on behalf of Advantage Padel Ltd to co-ordinate the planning process for a new padel tennis centre in the village of Kingsley in East Hampshire. The project involved three planning stages. We commenced with the preparation and submission of a Certificate of Lawfulness for a Proposed Use (CLOPUD), which confirmed the lawful use of the existing building for padel tennis.

 The second stage involved the preparation and submission of a Prior Approval application for the demolition of an existing structure on the site. The third stage involved the preparation and submission of a full planning application for an extension to the existing building, external works, outdoor padel courts and associated parking. 

The design process was led by The Padel Architects, who worked within the constraints of the site to design a facility comprising the requisite number of courts and supporting facilities, including a café/bar area. The design process also included a carefully considered palette of materials to provide a facility with a contemporary appearance, both internally and externally.
