Gravetts Lane Stables Guildford

Union4 is delighted to have successfully secured planning permission at appeal for a bespoke development of nine new homes within the Green Belt on the outskirts of Guildford. We demonstrated, and the Planning Inspector agreed, that the scheme constitutes appropriate development in this sensitive location. 

Designed by Twenty20 Architecture, the scheme draws inspiration from traditional farmsteads. Six of the homes are arranged around a central courtyard, while a terrace of three is positioned near the site entrance, adjacent to the access drive. Each home benefits from dedicated parking, with several spaces accommodated in a timber-framed car barn. Union4 managed to secure the optimum mix of homes for the client. The development has been carefully conceived to reflect a semi-rural character, enhanced by areas of public open space throughout the site.  Thanks to the project team including Twenty20 Architecture and our client Sustainable Land.
