Cargo Buildings Manchester Airport

Union4 secured planning consent for a new equine cargo building, together with car park reconfiguration and installation of circa 1,500sqm of PV panels to the existing logistics building within the Manchester airport complex. Animal welfare and airport and flightpath safeguarding matters had to be addressed as part of the applications, including measures to prevent glare or increase the risk of ‘birdstrike’ to incoming and outgoing aircraft.
