Working with local Architects Mitchell Evans, our team provided planning strategy advice and project management throughout the project, for this site in the Green Belt and Surrey Hills National Landscape (formerly Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty). Our team secured consent for redevelopment of an outmoded and isolated care home for a high quality 9-bedroom mansion with staff accommodation providing a robust Planning Statement including green belt case. Working with local landscape consultants Landscape Perspective, the project included a bespoke designed landscaped estate restoration. Our team also achieved a raft of related planning approvals for material and non-material minor amendments, discharge of conditions and undertook successful negotiations with Waverley Borough Council on a number of related planning matters. The implemented development has been filmed in a popular reality TV series and recently sold for approximately £30 million.
