A planning application was submitted to Broxbourne Council for the demolition of the existing industrial building and construction of two new industrial buildings comprised of 9 smaller industrial units for flexible use within classes E(g), B2 and B8, along with car and cycle parking, landscaping and associated works. The site is within a Designated Employment Area where employment uses are safeguarded and encouraged. The proposals will provide new, updated employment floorspace that can accommodate a wider range of occupiers and thus, will encourage and enhance the overall employment provision on site.
