South Staffordshire College Application Is Approved
We are pleased to announce that Union4 have secured planning permission for a new campus for South Staffordshire College which was approved at Tamworth Borough Council's planning committee last night.
The scheme will bring a new college campus to the centre of Tamworth town centre, featuring specialist subjects and integrated public facing uses. The new campus will replace the rear extension of the former Co-Operative Society building, following redevelopment into a modern piece of architecture which reflects the history of the town and its placement within the Tamworth Town Centre Conservation Area.

Alongside the development of the new college campus, Tamworth's town centre will benefit from wider regeneration in the coming years, as the recipient of the Government's Future High Streets Fund.
Do get in touch if you’d like to hear more about the scheme. Full details can also be found via the Tamworth Borough Council website.
